Shopify Speed Report
Shopify's built-in Speed Report (Online Store > Themes > View Report) shows your store's Lighthouse performance score relative to similar Shopify stores, along with factors affecting your score. It provides a simplified view of your store's front-end performance.
Why It Matters for Shopify Stores
The Shopify Speed Report offers a quick benchmark without requiring external tools. However, it uses a simplified scoring model and doesn't provide the level of detail available in Google PageSpeed Insights or StoreAudit. Use it as a starting point — if your store scores 'Slower than similar stores', investigate with more detailed tools to find specific causes.
How to Check Your Store
In Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes. Click 'View report' next to your live theme. Check your score and the contributing factors listed.
